Peterson Murphy, Inc. was formed in 1988 as a steel erection company, specializing in commercial and industrial storage, erecting approximately 4.5 million square feet.  In early 1997 the company completed its first training tower in Stamford, CT. and then went on to successfully complete over one hundred and twenty, fire and tactical training projects.  From that time forward the training towers have taken a larger and larger portion of the business. 

Peterson Murphy, Inc. has completed projects in both the public and federal sectors throughout the United States as well as construction consulting for fire training towers in Okinawa, Turkey, and Japan. 

Today the construction of training towers and buildings is the only business the company is engaged in. 

Peterson  Murphy, Inc. is a union contractor utilizing only trained and skilled tradesman on the job.

Orlando International Airport, Orlando, Florida

Completed in 2001, J. P. Construction worked with both Fire Facilities and Prime Construction Group, Orlando, Florida to construct a Deputy Fire Chief model with a four story tower.
